Caring for a child with cancer puts a huge strain on a family. At the Emily Ash Trust we aim to support the entire family at this difficult time and often beyond. Unlike many larger charities, our support covers children from as young as a few months to young adults up to age 24. We have little ‘red tape’ and are able to move fast on requests – particularly important when time is of the essence.
Everyone on the committee of the Trust works on an entirely voluntary basis – no one receives a wage – so you can rest assured that your hard earned funds are going directly to helping families who need it the most.
Whilst we are dealing with families during their most challenging and darkest times we aim to give them the things they need most – smiles and memories. We also think our fund raisers deserve the same – there are always smiles and memories in abundance at our fun fundraising events!
